Story
Ben Rothwell age 46 diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year, after not feeling to well, he was sent to the doctors from his place of as a serving prison officer, Ben had lots if tests before his diagnosis in 2018. Due to Bens condition this has not been possible.
Ben his wife Charlotte, daughter Izzy and son Louie, had found their dream home, it needed some work doing to it but as a family this was going to be possible.
After lots of collegues felt helpless, the idea of the fundraiser so everyone feels they can help towards Ben and his family getting their home up together with the funds raised. It very important for the family the awareness of MND is out out there for all.
Ben is no longer working and has a lot of support from the hospice, he a very popular man with staff

5 years agoEvents : Quiz Night and auction : Friday 5th April, 19:00 @ Camphill Club. Teams of 4 £10 per team. Football : Prison Staff Vs NHS Staff Sunday 7th April 2019 @ Newport Football Club - Gates open at 14:00 and kick off 15:00. Adults £3 and children £1
