Rosemary Ashley-Cantello, Tom Jeffrey, Sally Crundwell, Adam Robinson, Louise Davies and Kunal Patel were the only selected volunteers.

The organising officer has arranged many courtesy activities and events for them to enjoy including tickets for the grand opening ceremony and a sightseeing day out.

Their duties are classified under the term "ambassador" and so incorporate hosting PR events, face painting, accreditation, escorting, organisation of activities and more.

The six raised money for

the trip through holding raffles, cake sales, car washes and the school kindly donated money from school fundraising.

The students are very lucky as in Australia volunteers have been put through a rigid selection process and many have been turned down.

They are all very excited about this once in a lifetime opportunity and they are sure they will benefit greatly from this fantastic work experience placement.
