plastic mermaids at rhythmtree 2016

Rhythmtree Festival now in full swing. What are you waiting for?

One of our favourite small festivals, the excellent Rhythmtree Festival, kicked off yesterday (Friday) with a spectacular headline performance from Isle of Wight five piece band Plastic Mermaids.

Rhythmtree Festival has returned to Three Gates Farm in Calbourne and it’s just as great as we remembered.

With a diverse, rich mix of high quality music and family entertainment, Rhythmtree has some for everyone (check out the line-up). The relaxed, happy vibe flows easily through the entire site, which offers a spacious, safe area for families, three stages of music to choose from.

Rhythmtree Festival - the Woodland Stage

There’s plenty of comfortable seating in the Didge tent and the stage in the woods is simply beautiful. On top of that, everything is just a short walk from the free car park.

Weekend or day tickets
If you don’t fancy camping and want to just go for the day, that’s not a problem.

Day tickets are available at just £25 for adults, £12.50 for 13-17 year olds and kids 12 years old and under go free.

If you want to camp, weekend camping tickets also available on the gate.

Rhythmtree Festival

Over 70 performances
The programme includes more than 70 performances over the three days and this year, organisers are presenting their strongest and most varied programme ever.

From French chanson to Cuban son, hip-hop to opera (yes really!), classical trios to classic east African soukous, boiling, bubbling reggae, the best in folk, roots, irresistibly danceable Latin- American cumbia, the funkiest of acid-jazz and much, much more.
