A MAN charged with killing an Isle of Wight prison officer has denied manslaughter.
Michael John Hudson, 32, of no fixed address, appeared at Winchester Crown Court this morning (Monday).
He pleaded not guilty to manslaughter in relation to the death of Nick Medlin.
Mr Medlin, 57, of South Street, Ventnor, died after an incident outside the Rose Inn, Ventnor, in the early hours of Christmas Day.
The trial will take place on June 26.
