  8. AFC Bournemouth right-back Jordan Lee joins Torquay United on season-long loan

    Bournemouth right-back Jordan Lee has joined National League Torquay United on loan until the end of the season.

    The 20-year-old was part of the Cherries side that lost at Millwall in the FA Cup last week, but is yet to make a league appearance.

    "I've had a couple of people watch their games and their reports have been good," Gulls boss Kevin Nicholson said.

    "They've got a very good history of players coming through and they want them out to get that experience."

  9. Jurassic Coast fossil museum seeks new volunteers after £1m extension

    Lyme Regis Museum is looking for new volunteers ahead of its reopening following a £1m extension.

    The building will reopen in June following the construction of a new wing commemorating the work of famous paleontologist Mary Anning.

    Her fossil discoveries in the 1800s contributed to important changes in scientific thinking about prehistoric life.false

    The work includes a new gallery dedicated to the story of her work, a learning area for schools, exhibitions and events, and an extended shop.

  10. Eastleigh extend loan of Wolves defender Hakeem Odoffin

    Eastleigh have extended the loan of Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Hakeem Odoffin until the end of the season.

    The 18-year-old initially joined the National League club on a month-long deal, and has started four games in all competitions for The Spitfires.

    Odoffin is working under Eastleigh manager Martin Allen, who gave him his Barnet debut before the defender moved to Molineux in January 2016.

    He is yet to make a senior appearance for the Championship club.

  11. CCTV image released in connection with Southsea lone women robberies

    Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with four robberies on lone women in Southsea.

    During three of the four robberies, which took place between Sunday and Thursday, the victims were assaulted - with one 63-year-old woman being kicked during an attack in Boulton Road.  

    Hampshire Constabulary has warned women in the area to be "vigilant".

  12. Bristol Rovers sign Eastleigh captain Joe Partington

    League One club Bristol Rovers have signed Eastleigh captain Joe Partington for an undisclosed fee.

    The 26-year-old former Wales Under-21 international and Bournemouth defender has been with National League Eastleigh since an initial loan spell in 2015.

    A right-back who can also play at centre-half, he has started 63 league games for the Spitfires.

    Eastleigh have said they have received a "club record transfer fee" for the deal after a release clause was met.
