Calais refugee camp

Collection for Calais: Drop-off points close tomorrow

If you’ve been thinking about making a donation to the Collection for Calais appeal, please note that drop-off points close tomorrow (Wednesday).

Items at the main warehouse have already started to be sorted by Abigail Fox and the volunteers and they’ll need Thursday and Friday to continue sorting before all items are driven to the CalAid HQ in London on Sunday.

Only specific items needed
If you are going to donate items for the refugees, please make sure you check the list of what’s needed and only donate those items.

Specific items and specific sizes are needed.

If you donate items that cannot be passed onto CalAid, it means more work for our Island volunteers, who’ll have to find a way of disposing of them.
