Borehamwood JSC U9s 2

St Albans Rangers 1

Bushey Friendly League

Borehamwood JSC U9s ended their season with a fine win over St Albans Rangers.

Rangers applied the pressure in the first half and were denied a goal by a good display of goalkeeping skills from Mike Forde.

JSC countered with good passing from the midfield and Gary Russell made it 1-0. The same player doubled the advantage with a cracking drive from the edge of the area.

Rangers scored a late consolation.

Two goals from Scott Crossley helped the Blues to a 3-2 win over the same opposition.

The opposition took the lead after five minutes but JSC rallied and equalised thorough Crossley after good work from John Rowland.

Just before half time, Rangers went back in front.

Crossley levelled matters up before Rowland turned goal scorer to hit the winning strike.
