For those of you who haven't seen how long my hair has got recently, it's now the longest it has ever been.

Around the end of September (I will confirm the date asap) I am going to get it cut off and donate it to the Little Princess Trust. This organisation gives FREE wigs to children (boys and girls) who have lost their hair through cancer or other illnesses. On average the charity have to pay £350 per wig, some reach up to £2,000. By donating my hair it could be made into a wig that will then be given to the charity FREE.

So all I have to do is get my hair cut - sounds easy enough yes?

I would like you all to just remember how upsetting it is when the hairdresser takes off more than 1/2 an inch in a trim, or when you've hated your hair cut and have to find ways to hide it until it eventually grows out. I am hoping to donate 12 inches of hair - that's a lot more than a trim!

I would appreciate if you could sponsor me even 50p to go towards this amazing charity. While it doesn't seem like much, for anyone who has ever lost their hair you will understand quite how traumatic it can be.

I promise to put photo's etc up, and even to let you know when I do it so you can come along and watch!
