Lighthouse Keeper :

Zoe’s dream becomes a reality, but you can help make it even better

Well done to all those OnTheWight readers who responded to our feature on Saturday to help Isle of Wight artist Zoe Sadler reach her Kickstarter goal of £4,000 in order to produce a children’s book to accompany her Quay Arts exhibition later this year.

Zoe got in touch with us on Monday morning to let us know that a whopping 33% of pledges were referred from OnTheWight. At the time of publishing our feature Zoe had attracted £2,712 of pledges, today it stands at over £5,000.

Zoe said,

“I just wanted to thank you for your fantastic article – it went down a storm and definitely got me to my target amount! It runs for another five days so hopefully I can reach some more goals!”

New goals
Now that Zoe has smashed her first target, she’s hoping Islander will help her reach some others.

She says,

Thanks to all my wonderful backers I have reached my initial target and I can show my appreciation by offering a few bonus rewards if I reach further targets…

*£6000* Postcard Pack – A pack of four postcards featuring artwork from the book for all backers who have pledged £20 or above.

*£7000* Stickers – Four different stickers featuring artwork from the book for all backers who have pledged £20 or above. My digital backers of £5 and £10 will receive an additional digital reward- I’m thinking screensaver!

*£8000* One page illustrated manuscript – A separate signed and illustrated A4 copy of the rhyming story from the book for all backers who have pledged £20 or above. My digital backers of £5 and £10 will receive a digital version.
