Healing Festival:

The 2013 Healing Festival is almost upon us

Organiser, Gianpaolo Giancovich explains what we can expect to see and do at the 2013 Healing Festival which takes place on 10th and 11th August. Ed

The aim of the Healing Festival is to make people aware of their health, of different healing treatments and energies, organic skin care and remedies, the importance of breathing, diet and exercise and how it can lead to a healthier lifestyle, physically, mentally and spiritually.

It also aims to raise awareness of our Island, biodiversity, recycling, sustainability, nature and the environment.

The Garden will be open to the public as normal and the festival will be interactive with practitioners on hand to explain, teach and heal. You can have a guided tour of the medicinal gardens and try the freshly brewed herbal infusions.

An insight into the healing arts
This festival can give you an insight into the healing arts. Discover tree essences, join in meditation, yoga, nia, drumming or didgeridoo workshops or just bring a picnic, relax and take in the therapeutic sounds and wonderful scenery.

There is a great choice of healthy food and invigorating drinks available, using fresh ingredients and local Island produce. We want to give you a mind opening experience so you leave calm, balanced, energized and smiling!
