Oh So Cherished!: Isle of Wight Internet success story

Last updated:

Oh So Cherished! is a strong and growing small Island business that it’s more than likely most Islanders have never heard of.

Online success
The secret of this business that sells wedding stationery and other custom paper supplies is that they do all of their business online, over the Internet, through their Website.

We met with Sarah Whalley, at their then-Whitwell base, a few years back and marvelled at how she had grown the business from her bedroom in 2006 to a considerable online presence.

It’s a great, real-world example that shows with a good idea and the determination to follow it through, trading over the Internet could revolutionise the Island’s economy.

Further expansion
Well now we read that Sarah’s business has expanded beyond the point that Dean Farm in Whitwell can hold her no longer. The business will be moving into Old Granary Barn and The Old Dairy, at Sandy Lane, Whitecroft.

Great to see an Island business doing so well.
