Kendal and Josh:

Kendal and Josh scale over 16,500 ft in cycle challenge

Readers will remember the OnTheWight report a couple of weeks ago about Ventnorian Kendal Noctor and his pal, Josh Greet, who are planning to scale 100 mountain climbs over ten days in September.

Kendal and Josh are hoping their challenge will raise awareness and money for the Isle of Wight Chemo Unit and Cancer Research UK.

Ventnor hill climb x 21
In preparation for their mammoth ride in September – the Cent Cols Challenge – last Saturday (29th June) the lads cycled from Ventnor Beach up to Ventnor Downs a staggering 21 times, reaching total ascent of 16,500 ft and covering 85 miles.

This really was an incredible feat and we take out hats off to the guys for their determination and perseverance.
