Round 1 of Octopus League saw Bromley Swimming Club fielding a squad of many new competitors making their debuts.
After a very close competition Bromley finished in joint third with Streatham.
First places: Lianne Scott (16 and under butterfly) and Thomas Newman (10 years breaststroke).
Second places: Arjon Green (11 and under backstroke); his brother Prashan Green (10 years backstroke); Christine Dimsdale (13 and under breaststroke); Jack Hinton (11 and under breaststroke); Gregory Powell (11 and under butterfly); Gemma Philpott (11 and under freestyle) and Oliver Scutt (11 and under frrestyle).
Bromley SC continued its good form in the Tudor League by winning round 4 at Eltham Pool by a wide margin.
Great swims from the club's 10 years' age group meant they came first or second in 11 of their 12 events.
First places: Rachael Bull (10 years backstroke); Anna-Louise Barrett (12 and under breaststroke); Holly Trenouth (14 and under butterfly); Oliver Laws (open freestyle); Abbie Regelous (10 years breaststroke); Megan Brown (12 and under butterfly); Gina Deave (10 years butterfly and freestyle); Jack Barnes (10 years butterfly); Joanna Gough-Reynolds (12 and under freestyle); Lucy Gilmore (14 and under backstroke); Catherine Woodhouse (open breaststroke); Joseph Marchant (10 years freestyle); Felicity Gilmore (12 and under backstroke); Tom Agnew (12 and under backstroke); Troy Gabbadon (14 and under breaststroke) and James Young (open butterfly).
There were also several relay wins.
